Trust and safety

At the heart of our service are qualified teachers who live and work within the Dutch education system. We are committed to creating a secure and trustworthy learning environment for everyone. 

Although we are based in the Netherlands, we work with international students from around the world, offering lessons both online and in-person.

A cornerstone of this commitment is that every teacher holds a valid Certificate of Conduct (Dutch: VOG). This official document, issued by the Dutch authorities, verifies that the holder has no criminal record. It is a standard and crucial requirement for roles involving trust, such as teaching and healthcare.

Your confidence is essential. We encourage parents and adult learners to request a copy of their tutor's Certificate of Conduct. It is a mandatory part of our tutor onboarding and our educators are required to provide this proof willingly upon request.

We believe a safe educational space is fundamental. This verification is a key step in upholding that standard for every student.
