Reading strengthens empathy. When you read (non-)fiction, you see how characters develop and interact with others. It prompts you to reflect on what you read, helping you remember it better. Reading also stimulates you to make nuanced considerations and think critically. This enriches your own understanding and helps you grow in personal leadership skills, thereby enhancing your actions. In short: reading expands your world.
Learning to read and write texts is an important part of our work. That’s why we organize reading lessons. We also actively reflect on this with teachers and participants. Together, these activities form the foundation of our work.
